BAGGO Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 7, 2026

Effective date: October 7, 2026

In short

BAGGO is a shopping list app. It has no account, no ads, no third-party analytics and no tracking. BAGGO has no server of its own: your lists, store cards and settings are stored on your device, and the developer cannot see them.

Voice and photos of a list are recognized on the device. The app goes online in two cases: when you ask it to load a recipe from a link, and when the App Store verifies a purchase.

Who is responsible

Artur Popov, an independent developer based in Spain, is responsible for the data processing described in this policy.

Privacy questions: pixelsnakeinfo@gmail.com.

Data on your device

Lists, items, purchase history used for suggestions, store cards, unfinished drafts and settings are stored on your device. A copy of the current list is kept in the app’s shared area so the widget and the Lock Screen activity can show it. This data is included in your device backup (iCloud or computer) according to your iOS settings. BAGGO does not sync it through a developer server.

You can delete purchase history in Settings → “Forget my purchases”. Lists and cards are deleted in the app one by one. Deleting the app removes all of its data from the device.

Dictation

The microphone is active only while you dictate a list. Speech is turned into text on the device by Apple’s Speech framework: BAGGO allows on-device recognition only, and dictation is unavailable for a language that does not have it. Audio is not saved and is not sent anywhere.

Camera and photos

The camera is used to photograph a written list and to read the code on a store card. Text and codes are recognized on the device by Apple’s Vision framework. You pick photos yourself in the system picker: BAGGO does not ask for access to your whole library. Images are not saved in the app and are not sent anywhere.

When you paste a recipe link or send one to BAGGO through Share, the app loads that page from your device directly from the recipe site and takes the ingredient list from it. The recipe site receives an ordinary page request: your IP address and technical connection information, the same as when you open the page in a browser. The developer of BAGGO does not receive this request and does not see which recipes you open. An ingredient list pasted as text is parsed on the device without a network connection.

Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR — loading the page is a function you request.

Store cards

The name, number and code of a card are stored only on the device. BAGGO does not share them with stores, the developer or anyone else; the code is shown on screen when you open the card.

Purchases

The subscription and the one-time purchase are handled and charged by Apple through the App Store. BAGGO receives from Apple only whether a purchase is active, in order to unlock paid features. Your card details, name and Apple Account email are not shared with the developer. Apple processes purchases under its own privacy policy.

Lock Screen, widget, Siri and Shortcuts

In store mode the Lock Screen activity shows the remaining items; the widget shows the selected list. What is visible on a locked screen is controlled by your iOS settings. Shortcuts and Siri are run by Apple; BAGGO receives only the item text and the list you named.

Support email

If you write to pixelsnakeinfo@gmail.com, Artur receives your address, the text of your message and any attachments. This data is needed to reply and fix the problem. Legal basis: legitimate interest in supporting users (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Your email provider and Google (Gmail) also process the messages under their own terms.

Recipients and transfers outside the EEA

Artur does not sell or rent personal data. Data is processed by:

Children

BAGGO is not intended for children under 14 and does not knowingly collect their data.

Your rights

Subject to applicable law, you can request access to your data, correction, deletion or restriction of processing, object to processing based on legitimate interest, and receive a portable copy where that right applies. Write to pixelsnakeinfo@gmail.com. BAGGO data is only on your device, and Artur cannot see or delete it — delete it in the app.

You can lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (AEPD) or the supervisory authority where you live or work.

Changes

If the way BAGGO processes data changes, this policy will be updated before or at the same time as the change. The date at the top shows the latest version.
