What is processed and why
| Situation | Data | Purpose and legal basis |
|---|---|---|
| You visit the site | IP address, browser, request and security data processed by Cloudflare | To deliver and secure the site. Legitimate interests in operating and protecting the site (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR). |
| You write in the enquiry form | Draft text in your browser’s localStorage |
To preserve a draft if the connection fails. It is not sent to Artur unless you submit the form. |
| You submit an enquiry | Name, task description, email and/or Telegram handle, language, and an optional PDF, PNG, JPG/JPEG or DOCX attachment | To read your request and reply. Steps taken at your request before entering into a contract (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR). |
| The form is protected from abuse | A one-way hash of the IP address, a technical enquiry ID, the number of attempts, time and delivery status | To rate-limit spam and prevent duplicate delivery. Legitimate interests in security and abuse prevention (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR). |
| You continue the conversation | Emails or messages, your contact details and the information you choose to provide | To discuss a possible project, perform a contract where one is made, answer support questions and keep records where required by law. Article 6(1)(b), Article 6(1)(c) where a legal obligation applies, or Article 6(1)(f) for correspondence that does not lead to a contract. |
The form needs a name, a task description and one contact method. Without them, Artur cannot reply. Do not send passwords, payment card details, health information, children’s data or other sensitive information in an initial enquiry.
Services that receive data
The following providers help the site work:
- Cloudflare, Inc. provides hosting, security, the form backend, temporary enquiry storage and email forwarding for
hello@apopov.dev. - Resend (Plus Five Five, Inc.) delivers a submitted enquiry to Artur’s inbox.
- Google provides the Gmail inbox that receives enquiries and correspondence.
Telegram does not receive a copy of an enquiry submitted through the form. If you contact Artur directly through @ArturPopov, or he replies to the handle you supplied, that conversation takes place through Telegram under its own terms and privacy notice.
International transfers
These providers may process data outside the European Economic Area, including in the United States. Cloudflare and Resend state that they use the EU–US Data Privacy Framework and, where appropriate, the EU Standard Contractual Clauses. Google publishes its own transfer safeguards, including the Data Privacy Framework and Standard Contractual Clauses. You can ask Artur at hello@apopov.dev for information about the safeguards relevant to your enquiry.
How long data is kept
- Browser draft: until you submit the enquiry, clear browser data or overwrite the draft.
- Enquiry content and attachment in the site’s temporary storage: deleted after a terminal delivery result, or no later than 24 hours after submission.
- Technical enquiry status record: contains the enquiry ID, time and delivery status but not the enquiry content; deleted within 24 hours.
- IP hash and rate-limit counter: deleted within one hour.
- Resend copy and delivery logs: retained by Resend for up to 30 days under the account configuration used for this site.
- Emails and correspondence where no project follows: up to 12 months after the last message.
- Project correspondence and documents: for as long as needed for the project and any applicable tax, accounting or legal obligation, and then deleted or anonymised.
Cloudflare, Resend, Google and your own email provider may keep limited technical data under their own retention rules.
Your rights
Subject to applicable law, you may ask for access to your data, correction, deletion, restriction, portability or objection to processing based on legitimate interests. Email hello@apopov.dev. Artur normally responds within one month and may ask for information needed to confirm that a request concerns your correspondence.
You may also complain to the Spanish Data Protection Agency (AEPD) or to the supervisory authority where you live or work.
Cookies and local storage
The site does not use analytics, advertising or tracking cookies. The enquiry form uses localStorage only in your browser to save an unfinished draft. If the site later adds a cookie or similar technology that requires notice or consent, this policy and the site interface will be updated first.
Changes and contact
If the way the site processes data changes, this policy will be updated before or when the change takes effect. The date at the top shows the latest version.
